What we do with personal data on this website, and what you can ask of us.

What this site collects

This is a reading site. It has no accounts and no user area, and it does not build a profile of you.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Why, and on what legal basis

Attention signals inside the Cube

The project described on this site is built around measuring how people look at works of art inside private viewing rooms. None of that happens here. This website does not measure attention and does not read behaviour.

When the Cube itself exists, that measurement will be described in its own notice, it will be asked for in plain language before a room opens, it will be granular and withdrawable, and signals leaving a partner organisation will be aggregated. We state it here so there is no confusion between the project and this site.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf, under contract, in order to run the site. Our email provider processes the messages you send us. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

We keep hosting and storage within the European Union. If that ever changes, we will say so here and we will use a transfer mechanism recognised under the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, and for a copy in a portable form. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what was done before.

Write to stoiana00@gmail.com and we will answer within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at dataprotection.ro, or to the authority where you live.
