Cookies
None on your visit. Here is what that means, and the one thing your browser does remember.
No cookie is set when you read this site
A cookie is a small file a website leaves on your device, usually so that someone can recognise it again later. This site does not do that to you. It has no analytics, no advertising tags, no cross-site trackers and no third-party scripts that could set one.
Because nothing here requires your consent, you will not be asked for it. A banner that asks permission to do nothing would be theatre.
What is stored on your device
One thing, and it never leaves your browser:
- Your light or dark preference. Kept in your browser’s local storage when you use the toggle in the header, so the site opens the way you left it. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to our server, and we cannot read it.
Clearing your browsing data removes it. The site then simply follows your system setting again.
The one cookie that exists
There is a single cookie on this domain, and you will almost certainly never meet it. When we sign in to the private page where we read the messages sent through the form, our browser is given a session cookie so the page knows the login is still valid. It is set only after that sign-in, it holds nothing but a random token, it expires after eight hours, and it is never set for a visitor reading the site.
A cookie strictly necessary to keep a private area signed in does not need your consent under European rules, and asking you for it would make no sense: it is not about you.
The form is not a cookie
If you ask to become a partner or to join the community, what you type goes straight to our server and nothing about it is stored on your device. That is personal data, not tracking, and it is described in the privacy notice.
If that changes
If we ever add measurement, this page will list what it does before it is switched on, and it will stay off until you accept it. We would rather say this plainly here than bury it in a settings panel.
